THAT’S SO DALLAS

Plano’s raw sewage, a million pounds of it, was headed to our White Rock Lake. Who could thwart the terror advancing upon our prized pond? Saturday saw no typical setting of sails or kayaks gliding, as the City of Dallas, exercising caution, closed the park. As of Sunday, flow had clogged about 10 miles north of the lake. Crews reportedly have begun clean-up. Altogether, seems we can breathe a sigh of relief (without choking on noxious fumes). (Lakewood Advocate)
