Dallas Police are investigating a murder near Vantage Point Drive following a Monday afternoon shooting.
According to a police statement, units received calls of a shooting around 3:05 p.m. on Dec. 15. in the 8900 block of Vantage Point Drive. When they arrived, one individual was found shot, the statement says.
The victim, who has not been identified by police, died at the scene, police say.
Police did not provide information on a suspect or further details regarding the shooting. The incident is part of an active investigation that will be documented under case number 179044-2025.
