Cocktail bar and restaurant Ritual — also called Ritual Lounge on its website — is coming to Ross Avenue and North Hall Street this month.

The new Bryan Place spot is expected to open on Jan. 22 at 1623 N. Hall St. #103, where Asian fusion concept Alice had been since 2018, according to a report from The Dallas Morning News. Diners will be able to visit during the evening hours, seven days a week.

Aside from some classics and non-alcoholic options, Ritual’s drinks are to include “a clear cosmopolitan, a Carajillo with Biscoff cookie-infused coffee liqueur (and) a vodka drink with matcha cold foam,” according to The Dallas Morning News. Paul Ramon, who came up with the cocktail menu, is a bartender at 1-star Michelin restaurant Mamani in Uptown.

The menu is expected to be more or less light eats — beef tartare, grilled cheese, cheese eclairs, salads, lobster rolls and New York strip, according to The Dallas Morning News.

The North Texas operators opening the new bar have roots in nearby concepts like Black Swan Saloon, Colombian Country Club, Green Light Social and Komodo Dallas in Deep Ellum, plus Hendy’s on Henderson and The Standard Pour in Uptown. Alice operator Justin Kalhoff is working with first-time bar owners Chris Evans and Cole Howard on Ritual, according to The Dallas Morning News.
