Lake Highlands Elementary will soon start accepting donations for the Richardson ISD Council of PTAs Used Book Fair.
From Jan. 26 to Jan. 29, neighbors can bring new and gently used books to LHE for the book fair. During that time, donations can be placed in a large box toward the front of the school. The RISD Council of PTAs is also accepting donations of comic books, CDs and board games. If neighbors are looking to donate those items, they may contact the LHE PTA.
The used book fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Feb. 7-10 at the former Greenwood Hills Elementary campus, located at 1313 West Shore Dr. If neighbors can’t stop by then, the fair will open for a last time on Feb. 8 from noon-5 p.m.
At the fair, neighbors can purchase a bag for $25 and fill it with books. All proceeds go towards RISD PTAs.
