The Lake Highlands men’s soccer team is headed to the area round of playoffs after defeating Arlington Martin 4-1 last Thursday. The district champion women’s team was defeated 2-1 by South Grand Prairie in bi-district play.
The Wildcats (14-3-6) will face Coppell (15-4-4) Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. at Allen Eagle Stadium. Before the players, coaches and trainers head off to the match, students and parents will send them off in style with a 3 p.m. “clap out” in the school’s HUB.

Allen Eagle Stadium is at 612 E. Bethany Drive, just east of 75.
