An unidentified man was killed Sunday night.
At around 8:45 p.m., Dallas Police Officers responded to a call in the 400 block of North Westmoreland Road, according to DPD Beat. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man who had been shot in the head. He died at the scene.
Fredy Salinas, 35, has been identified and arrested in connection with the shooting. Salinas admitted to the crime after being interviewed by detectives, according to police.
Salinas was booked early Monday morning into the Dallas County Jail and currently faces a murder charge. His bail has not been set as of Tuesday morning.
