NorthPark Center mall was evacuated Wednesday afternoon for a potential security issue.
The Dallas Police Department is investigating a security incident at the mall, they said in an online post.
Police say commuters should expect congestion near the intersection of North Central Expressway and Northwest Highway as the investigation continues.
A spokesperson for the mall said that the security sweep should be complete by 2 p.m.
