
Easter is coming up Sunday, April 5, and festivities to celebrate the holiday are ahead in East Dallas and Lake Highlands. Here are Easter events happening this week around our area, all for free, and important information you need to know about them.
Lake Highlands North Recreation Center Eggstravaganza
When: 10 a.m. Thursday, April 2
Where: Lake Highlands North Recreation Center
Additional Information: There will be two different egg hunts, one starting at 10:15 and the other starting at 11:15. There will be an opportunity to take a picture with the Easter Bunny.
Harry Stone Recreation Center annual egg hunt
When: 6 p.m. Thursday, April 2
Where: Harry Stone Recreation Center
Additional Information: This will include crafts, food, drinks, performances and a line dance demonstration from instructor Josh Buie.
Forest Green Library spring egg hunt
When: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4
Where: Forest Green Library
Additional Information: The hunt is open to ages 0-12. There will be crafts and an opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny there. Children ages 0-6 must be accompanied by an adult.
White Rock YMCA Easter egg hunt
When: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4
Where: White Rock YMCA lawn
Additional Information: The egg hunt will have food, drinks, music, games and bounce houses. There will be multiple egg hunts for different ages.
Shore Line City Church Dallas Easter egg hunt
