A man has been arrested following a fatal shooting that occurred at a shopping center on Tuesday night.
Dallas Police responded to a reported shooting at 7:30 p.m. in the 4400 block of the Dallas Fort Worth Turnpike, according to DPD Beat.
There, responders found 28-year-old Erick Artea Lerma and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The alleged shooter, 32-year-old Anthony Rios Rivera, fled the scene before the officers’ arrival. He was later located and arrested.
Rios Rivera is currently in the Dallas County jail facing a murder charge.
