Dallas-based Goody Goody Liquor has unveiled a newly renovated Northeast Dallas store, introducing a technology-driven concept designed to transform the traditional liquor store experience.
The updated space, located on Greenville Avenue, first opened in 1984 and now blends a smaller footprint with a larger, curated selection supported by an automated system.
Instead of placing items directly into a cart, customers can browse the aisles and scan QR codes with their phones to build a digital cart. Once ready to check out, their order is retrieved through a behind-the-scenes robotic system that stores products in a grid.
According to a statement given by the company in a recent press release, the system is designed to improve inventory accuracy, reduce out-of-stock items and lower operational costs—effectively lowering everyday prices for customers.
“This is the biggest leap forward in our company’s history,” said president Scott Jansen in a press release. “We’ve reimagined what a liquor store can be by combining innovative technology with the service and selection our customers expect.”
Shoppers can also access a dedicated website while in-store to learn more about products, while beverage specialists remain available to provide recommendations and assistance.
Founded in 1964, Goody Goody Liquor has grown to 23 locations across Texas. The Greenville Avenue store reflects the company’s push toward innovation and continued customer service. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Goody Goody Liquor’s Greenville Avenue store is located at 7124 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75231.
