An 18-year-old woman was arrested in connection to a shooting that occurred in March.

Saryiah Sanford Griffin was arrested by the U.S. Marshals in connection with the case on Friday, April 3, according to a release.  She is charged with capital murder.

The shooting occurred at approximately 10:55 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11 in the 7400 block of Pin Tail Court. The preliminary investigation by Dallas Police determined that a juvenile had been shot at the location by an unknown suspect,according to the release.

Responders transported the victim to a local hospital, where they later died.
