Martin Weiss Recreation Center is hosting a community meeting on Tuesday, April 7.
District 1 City Council member Chad West will be joined by JR Huerta, the District 1 Representative for the Dallas Park and Recreation Board at the meeting to explore ideas and concepts for the renovation of the Martin Weiss Recreation Center.
In December 2025, the Dallas City Council approved a contract to provide architectural and engineering services for the schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding and negotiation, and construction administration for the recreation center.
The meeting will take place tonight from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
