The Preston Royal Library Friends will host its annual book sale from May 7–9 at the Preston Royal Branch Library (5626 Royal Lane). This fundraising event will offer approximately 8,000 books of all genres, with proceeds directly supporting library programs, resources, and community events here in Preston Hollow. The sale will kick off with a special $20 ticketed preview (free for members) on Thursday, May 7, starting at 10 a.m.; entry is free on Friday and Saturday.

In these final weeks leading up to the event, the Friends are accepting book donations in the designated collection box at the library desk during regular business hours. Hardback and paperback books in good condition are welcome. Damaged, moldy, or heavily soiled books cannot be accepted. The Friends are also unable to take textbooks, software, or reference materials published before 2021.
