The Southeast Asian-inspired restaurant Komodo in Deep Ellum has closed, despite having reservations still on the books.
Komodo Dallas has removed its Instagram page, and its website no longer lists the Dallas location. This news was reported by multiple news outlets, including D Magazine which supplied the information about the cancelled reservations, and Google (though the search engine currently labeled the closure as temporary).
Other outlets consistently mention that Komodo took up 22,500 square feet on two floors. The restaurant opened in 2023 at The Epic, serving up Wagyu beef and Szechuan Texas quail.
