Dallasites can join Threaded Resonance for its Coffee & Culture Preview at the Bath House Cultural Center on Friday, Aug. 21, to discuss the premiere of Frozen Veils: Echoes of Poets.
Beginning at 10 a.m., guests will have the opportunity to enjoy morning coffee alongside Artistic Director Hee Yun Kim, Technical Director Joel Olivas and mezzo-soprano Kayla Nanto while discussing behind-the-scenes moments from the upcoming production. Attendees will also experience live readings of Emily Dickinson’s poetry.
The event is free to attend, and no RSVP is required.
The preview will take place one week before the official premiere of Frozen Veils: Echoes of Poets, a multimedia musical drama that follows a profound emotional arc across changing seasons. The production will feature a curated collection of poetry by Emily Dickinson and other classical poets.
The production will take place Aug. 28-29 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
