Despite the ongoing renovation project in Deep Ellum, one business has relocated to Commerce Street, and another one is coming soon.
Formé Pilates + Sculpt is moving into Deep Ellum sometime this month. The Dallas-based brand that was founded last year plans to open at 3014 Commerce St., Suite 100 (down the street from Deep Vellum Bookstore & Publishing Co.), according to a press release. Formé announced its studio on Instagram in October as a “quietly luxurious” pilates studio for women that is meant to transcend trends.
Based on one Instagram post, Formé’s schedule may include pilates, sculpt, yoga, heated and non-heated classes, and sound bowls. Right now, the studio is offering a founding membership of unlimited monthly classes if you’re willing to shell out $285 per month. It’s unclear what pricing will be for other membership levels and drop-ins.

After celebrating 10 years in business in August, Brick & Bones announced in October that the restaurant would be moving from its Elm Street location to 2651 Commerce St., Suite 100.
“New chapter. Same soul,” Brick & Bones wrote in an Instagram post. “It’s bittersweet to close this location but we’re fired up for what’s next and the evolution that’s coming.”
The chicken joint reopened after Christmas.
