The Chi Omega Christmas Market is one of Dallas’s most popular holiday traditions. Each annual event gathers hundreds of vendors in a booth-style layout to be shopped by thousands over the course of three days. Proceeds benefit local charities focused on the arts, education, health, and welfare, as well as college scholarships. The event is hosted and staffed by Chi Omega Dallas Alumnae and student volunteers, representing the largest sorority in the National Panhellenic Conference.
The first Chi Omega Christmas Market took place in 1978 at Dallas Convention Center, raising $13,150 for local organizations. Last year’s event was held at Dallas Market Hall and raised a total of $582,200. The 2025 amount reflects a record-breaking milestone following 47 years of growth and dedication, bringing the grand total raised to-date to $11.5 million.
“The Chi Omega Christmas Market is truly a labor of love,” said Debbie Lang, 2024 and 2025 Chi Omega Christmas Market Co-chair. “The generosity of our shoppers, merchants, sponsors, and volunteers is what makes this event so special year after year.”
