Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned dancer, these three days of Afro’Dance Workshops around Dallas are for you.

Presented by Orizon and special guest Zawadi Gotora, the workshops will embrace the energy of AfroBeats and bongo rhythms of East Africa, allowing participants the opportunity to connect, learn, ask questions and of course have a great time dancing with others in the community.

Each session will take place at a different location throughout the city.

Day One will take place Friday, Feb. 6, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center, focusing on Bongo flava. Day Two’s singeli rhythms will take place at the South Dallas Cultural Center on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., with the final Day Three filled with both performances and panelist discussions taking place Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Pan-African Connection Bookstore Art Gallery and Resource Center from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

All three days are free to attend with an RSVP via Eventbrite.
