Located on the campus of Southern Methodist University, the Meadows Museum is home to one of the largest collections of Spanish art outside of Spain. In addition to its permanent collection of masterpieces from the Middle Ages through modern times, the museum hosts guest speakers and family activities as part of its robust calendar of events. Now open for registration, the Meadows Museum will host two art-centered summer camps for 4th – 8th graders that combine hands-on activities and exclusive tours.

The Sensational Sculptures camp will take place the week of June 1, and will focus on three-dimensional artwork made from clay, plaster, and wood. The Printmaking Palooza camp takes place the week of June 22, incorporating a variety of plate- and screen-printing techniques. Both camps take place in the Meadows Museum Education Center, and campers will also have the opportunity to go “behind the scenes” on gallery tours to view rarely exhibited works.

Enrollment starts at $125. For more information, visit the Meadows Museum family programs page.
