Dallas ISD brought home three UIL state championship wins in boys’ basketball over the weekend, with two of those wins going to Oak Cliff high schools.
Justin F. Kimball High School earned the 4A Division I State Championship title, defeating Almeta Crawford High School with a score of 62-42. This marks the program’s ninth state championship win and third state title since 2023, according to an article from The Dallas Morning News.
At the end of the regular season, Kimball ranked second behind rival David W. Carter High School.
Carter High School came home with a win over La Marque High School with a score of 67-41, securing the 4A Division II State Championship and the school’s first state championship.
