There’s nothing like summer in our special corner of the city. The sun is shining, and many delicious events and seasonal specials are happening in and around Preston Hollow. From the return of a local farmers market, to an “endless” evening of Italian food, there’s something for every taste.

This popular nonprofit market has returned for the season, taking place every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon through September 5. Check the website for each week’s vendor lineup, or let the rotating selection of local farmers, ranchers, and food artisans surprise you. Breakfast and coffee are also available, as are treats for four-legged friends.

AAPI Heritage Month

All You Can Eataly

Eataly at NorthPark Center will celebrate the Italian national holiday, Festa della Repubblica, with a special event on Friday, June 5. Tickets start at $135.00, and include “unlimited” samples of 50-plus dishes, as well as “endless” drinks, chef demonstrations, and a performance from the Emerald City Band.

Walk & Eat With a Doc

Starting at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, this unique event begins with a plant-based food tasting and health discussion hosted by a local physician. Thereafter, attendees are invited to continue the conversation during a self-paced walk along the Northaven Trail.

Mesero has debuted a new brunch menu, available from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Blue Sushi Sake Grill hosts happy hour all day each Sunday, with sushi and drinks under $10. Modern Market’s seasonal menu includes a new Korean-inspired protein bowl and edamame hummus.
