JD’s Chippery will soon celebrate its first anniversary at Preston Royal Village (6025 Royal Ln., #101). Representing the local bakery’s second location, the original JD’s in Snider Plaza has been serving its signature warm cookies since 1983. The Preston Hollow milestone will be marked with an all-day event on Tuesday, June 2, that will include discounts, family activities, and photo opportunities.
“We can’t believe it’s already been a year,” says owner Amy Broad. “Our family has been baking cookies in Dallas for 43 years, and it means so much to continue growing with the support of this incredible community.”

Cookies and drinks will be $1 each on Tuesday, June 2, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. In addition, a face painter will be on-site from noon to 2 p.m., and an interactive photo booth will be set up throughout the day. JD’s Chippery expects a high volume of guests to attend this Preston Hollow anniversary event, and kindly requests that each group respect the six-cookie limit.
