Dallas isn’t the only North Texas city trying to sweep Amazon off its feet.

More than a dozen municipalities are part of a regional pitch enticing the company to construct its second headquarters in the metroplex. The $5-billion project would bring 50,000 jobs to the area.

““You’re talking 8,000 square feet. You’re talking 50,000 jobs,” Brandom Gengelbach, of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, told Fox4News. “And that’s not something that one area can handle. It’s something that the entire region needs to be behind.”

Fort Worth, Richardson, Plano, Frisco, Allen and Irving are definitely on the list, while Arlington, The Colony, Grand Prairie and Garland may also be contenders.
