Officer Ashley Parmley is on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation.
After reportedly receiving a call from a concerned citizen, Rowlett police Tuesday arrested Dallas police officer Ashley Parmley for driving while intoxicated.
A local news station reports that she also was charged with resisting arrest.

Parmley has been with the Dallas Police Department since June 2015 and is stationed at the North Central Patrol Division, up at Hillcrest and McCallum.
The DPD placed Parmley on administrative leave, “pending an internal affairs investigation,” according to a DPD press release.
The officer in question was part of the police cycling team that completed a three-day ride last year to honor officer casualties in the line of duty.
