Robert Colombo hopes to change the fate of 3900 Cedar Springs Road, as he plans to open his new pizzeria, Peasant Pizzeria, in November. The space used to house Nuvo, Quesa, and most recently, Q-Tacos.
Many will remember Colombo for opening SFuzzi on McKinney Avenue, later moving to Cedar Springs Road.
With Peasant Pizzeria, Colombo plans to keep things simple. He told CultureMap,“We’ll do 10-12 appetizers, a dozen pizzas, a few pastas, and a few entrees. We’re going to have pizzas from a wood-fired pizza oven, some pastas, and some fabulous salads.”
Some of these entrees will include a whole roasted fish and mussels or clams.
As for drinks, Sfuzzi’s famous peach bellinis will make their return as well as other craft cocktails.
