As previously mentioned, the NRA last weekend came to town, Trump made ‘breathtaking’ comments and supporters of both promised to boycott Ellen’s restaurant when it began including a message on the bottom of its receipts on Friday morning, ahead of the weekend gathering. “Thanks for visiting Ellen’s!” read the receipt, which went on to explain that some of the proceeds earned that week would be donated to organizations “dedicated to implementing reasonable and effective gun regulations … Welcome to Dallas!” it added.
