Victoria M. DeFrancesco Soto is an expert when in the ways of immigration, Latinos, women and politics, political psychology, and campaigns and elections. You’ve likely see her on MSNBC or NBCNews.com.

Today she teaches at University of Texas in Austin, but Monday, April 23, she will lead a discussion on the surge of women in politics.

The lecture is hosted at SMU’s John Goodwin Tower Center for Political Studies from noon-1:30 p.m. Monday, April 23, in Carr Collins Hall #227 on campus.
